The April Kit from Elle's Studio will definitely win you over. The die-cuts, which I normally use sparingly because that's just how I roll, surprised me a lot!
APRIL 2015 KIT
For this day only, you can get the kit for $9.99 (~PHP 450). After that, it goes up to the regular price of $11.99 (~PHP 530). These amazing kits are limited and they contain exclusive items. Once it runs out, they’re not restocking it so ya better click fast!
In case you'll be scrapping a lot this April, Elle's Studio has a couple of add-ons you can use to complement and extend your kit:
APRIL 2015 DIGITAL ADD-ONS
yep, you guessed it - there's more!
Elle's Studio Grab Bags are here! This awesome deal only happens twice a year so you better make it count. There are three types of grab bags to choose from - Scrapbook, Stamp and Journaling Tags. Find out how you can get a nice surprise package (+ save money!) by reading the full details here.
If you're a bit overwhelmed with all the shiny, new paper goodness, head over to the Design Team Gallery and be inspired! We're sharing a variety of projects using the same set of kits, plus each of us have different scrapbooking styles so I'm sure you'll find something that suits your taste.
As I mentioned above, I was so surprised by how much I wanted to use all the die-cuts (but my minimalist self won't let me), that's how goooood this month's kit was.
Yexel's Toy Museum
Nico and I decided to have a regular, every other month Sundate (Sunday + date). We've both been extremely busy with our 9-5's + passion projects so we rarely do things differently. Normally, we just have dinner, watch a good movie and chill at home. We wanted to switch things up a bit so we're committing to doing something new every other month.
Last February, we went to a Toy Museum which features replicas + authentic props to some of our favorite movies and shows - Marvel, DC, Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, Star Wars (I admit I have never watched Star Wars.) and more.
It was a fun, fresh and quick adventure and I love that. Bonus: we got to watch the sunset from the great view in one of the rooms!
Small adventures, big memories. My mantra for this year.
And because we're silly people, we did our own "music video" to Psy's Gangnam Style! Basically, we danced the choreo using the different settings + props. No, don't even try to scan that QR code. I've yet to finish editing the video (hello procrastination!) so that's a placeholder for now ;)
Definitely the only way to cap off this post / layout!
These kits are amazing for any scrapbooking style so I'm sure you're going to have lots of fun with it. Try sprinkling your layouts with a bit of Cienna as well (I did!) because it just complements the kit so well.
If you make something using the kit, comment it down below and I'll be sure to check it out! I always enjoy perusing other people's hard work, keeps me inspired :)
