In an effort to catch up with my Project Life posts (we're currently on Week 19 and I've only posted up until Week 3 /gasp), I'll be doing a Project Life post every week! I'll still get around to the other posts - travel diaries, stress-busting strategies, etc. - which means I'll be posting twice a week now ;)
Week 3 is a pretty busy week for me: I've got a lot of schoolwork since we're nearing the Finals, had to finish some client work, birthday buffets and a hotel staycation. OH YEAH.
I had a pink theme going on for this spread. I'm not really a pink person but recently, I've been warming up to the soft pink hue. As you can see from my blog, I've been trying to incorporate this pastel color into my life. Ha.
I got my Studio Calico goodies that week so I'm extra giddy with all the new stuff and I bought a bunch of mt washi tapes - my favorite. I got a Canon Pixma printer from my mom as a Christmas gift and I've been crazily printing out a lot of stuff - SC printables, random posters and well... all the photos in my Project Life album. The printer itself is cheap but the ink is pretty costly. It prints amazingly so I'm satisfied!
Some detail shots:
I made this cute little kiddie obento lunchbox for our Japanese Food and Culture class! It's a ham and cheese sheep sandwich! I used carrots as tulips... I'd love to have this for lunch!
We also celebrated my grandpa's birthday this week and being a huge, hungry family that we are, we just had to celebrate it buffet style. We ate at Buffet 101 in the new Robinson's Magnolia. One big highlight for me was meeting my two nephews, Thirdy and Lance! I rarely get to go visit my dad's side of the family so this is my first time meeting these cutiepies.
Last year, I bought a voucher for two nights at Picasso Boutique Serviced Residences for some quality me time + self-reflection and at the last minute, I decided to bring my dad and sisters with me. We had no agenda and really just wanted to relax and chill after the big buffet celebration. The hotel was ah-may-zing! I definitely recommend you guys to check it out if you're local :)
Okay, so that's my Week 3! I tried something new and talked about the moments I captured in my Project Life instead of the techniques (since I use mostly the same ones each week). I hope you like it! If you do Project Life as well, link me up in the comment section below and I'll check it out!
