Project Life 2014: Week 6

I'm trying to get into a "blogging" routine because I need some semblance of organization in everything that I do. I'm thinking Mondays and Fridays could be my Project Life days. Yep, two days in a week since I am trying to catch up! Let's see how this plays out.

For now, I have Week 6 for y'all!

Since this is my first year of doing Project Life, I've decided to experiment a bit on the different techniques and styles. For that reason, my spreads look different style-wise everytime. I'll probably  cringe at this album when I look back to it a few years from now (since I'm that kind of girl who wants things to look uniform/in the same style) but I'm really enjoying it so far.

I was practicing some brush script before I started this spread and thought to myself, "Hmmm... maybe I should try it for the title card?" and I did. I totally messed up because I didn't wait for the paint to dry before I stuffed it inside the page protector. So, the protector has some paint on it but it's not that noticeable when you keep the card in. No harm done, right?

This week was really tough, academics-wise. I was in the last few weeks of my college education so all the final projects were pretty much due by that time. I just had to snap a photo of the paper + CD we had to submit as our final report in my Finance 121 class.

I had this picture that I really liked - it was Nico giving me this tissue-origami of a flower over our Japanese food from Teriyaki Boy. I really liked the photo composition-wise and I didn't want to crop it. So I just wrote on it directly using the Uni-ball Signo pen. This white pen is pretty much like the correction fluid pens you can buy locally at National Bookstore. Nothing special, I was pretty bummed about that.

My sister is a fan of Lang Leav so we went to the book signing of Love & Misadventure at Fully Booked, Bonifacio Global City. That place is just downright photogenic! Nico and I ate at IHOP after we queued for the tickets to the book signing. It was a simple meet and greet (and sign) event but it was actually my first ever!

Okay, I don't know what it is but sometimes I just take more detail shots of one side of the spread than the other. I'll definitely try to get at least two per page next time ;) This ends Week 6 of my Project Life album!

If you do Project Life as well, share the link on the comments and I'll check 'em out!
