I'm back to share a Project Life spread! :) I'm trying to share my spreads every Mondays + Fridays so I can hopefully share at least 1/2 or 3/4 of 2014 before the year actually ends. I've just started my new (and first ever) day job so I'm still adjusting to the idea of having a 9-5 work schedule. It's a bit difficult especially since my commute to and from work takes up about four - five hours in total. I know, that's a lot but I live in a third-world country so it's a given here. Anyway, here's a look into my Week 17!
Week 17 wasn't too eventful - I had a few meetings here and there but aside from that, nothing to exciting happened. I also didn't take a lot of photos so that means I had too many pockets to fill.
WEEK 17 CHALLENGE: create + use filler cards
It's a lucky thing that I had two pockets already taken care of because of the star confetti shaker pocket + transparency pocket that I created for the Week 16 layout. Sometimes, really, the universe just conspires to help you achieve what you want. (Ooohhh, some Coelho wisdom right there!)
This is a great example of how I messed up a title card and didn't care at all HAHAHA It didn't turn out the way I imagined it would so I started sticking on random embellishments to make up for it and ended up with a mish-mash of uncoordinated little things. Oh well.
Filler Card #1 is from the In A Creative Bubble digital cards. I like how it looks like beside the star confetti shaker pocket + a 3/4am shot of what I see outside my window.
If you've been following my blog for quite some time, you'd know that my Shih Tzu, Blue, has been on a number of rough patches (she still is, sadly). Nico and I took her to a reputable veterinarian (you don't know how many bogus vets we have here in the Philippines so you've got to do your research!) in the hopes of getting a correct diagnosis + treatment for her.
In other news, on the left is Filler Card #2 from the Bluegrass Farm Studio Calico Project Life kit.
It's always an awesome day when the UPS guy drops off a box of Studio Calico goodies! (I think I have a photo like this at least once a month, ha.)
Filler Card #3 & #4! It was blazing hot this week. 34 freakin' degress! (FYI, we use Celsius.) I created a filler card using a card from the Project Life Seafoam Core Kit and added the number "34" from the Studio Calico Office Hours Scrapbook Kit.
That's it for me today! If you want to check out all my Project Life spreads, just go over here! I'd love for you to also share your spreads by linking them in the comment section ;)
Also, I'm trying this new thing where I list out all the supplies I used in this spread (at least, all that I can remember + still find online) so you can get to them quickly ;)
