If you've been reading my blog for a while now, you'd know that I made the decision to actually do December Daily 2014 in an effort to start new Christmas traditions :) I'm working on it bit by bit, day by day and now I'm ready to share the first seven days of December! The first layout has already been shared as part of Elle's Studio's Celebrate December event. You can check that out here.
I'm not going to "talk" too much in this blogposts. I just want the photos / layouts to sort of speak for themselves. As you will soon see, I went for the minimal + simple, photo-heavy style that I find myself leaning towards this past few months.
Day 1 & 2
Since this was my first ever attempt at December Daily, I took a lot of cues and inspiration from Ali Edwards' daily December posts. I'm thankful for all the wonderful inspiration that you can easily access online - perfect for when you just want to get those photos + stories on paper, pronto.
Day 3, 4, 5 & 6
I used a combination of different kits (that I already have) + items from my stash for these layouts. Just staying true to my goal of actually using what I have.
I love how Copic Markers look like when writing on a matte photo paper! So simple but definitely high-impact ;)
Day Seven was precious to me because we started a Christmas tradition of ice skating. We don't have a lot of Christmas traditions (I don't think we have any, actually) so this was something new, a first to us. I'm grateful for being able to document this day :)
