It's Monday again! Time for some workspace inspiration for y'all ;)
The createspace I'm featuring today belongs to a girl that makes my minimalist heart skip a beat! I love how she incorporates her handwriting into her works and how she's so adventurous when it comes to her mini-books and her small business.
Let's take a peek at Caylee Grey's createspace!
I'm Caylee and I'm pretty enthusiastic about most things in my life. I create organising tools for people who want to have more time for creating adventures and less time for admin. I have a blog, which has been a great doorway to making the most incredible internet friends. That's what I really like about the internet. Project Life is the gateway drug that got me started on this creative lifestyle. I spend most of my time writing lists, art journaling and reorganising my bookshelves. I have far too few shelves for my books, and far too few Moleskines for all of my ideas. This year I'm all about being deliberate and turning those ideas into projects into completion.
We live in an apartment that is on the small side except for the glorious loft area upstairs. The loft walls are covered in bookshelves, and my desk faces away from that busy-ness towards a big window. This is the first time I've lived in a place with a dedicated createspace so I'm pretty excited about that (although I'm easily excited by boring things).
What is your favorite area in your space? Why that area?
My desk. I stare out of that glorious window while day dreaming. I have a view of the big African sky, and the city that I live in is particularly good at pink sunsets.
If you could only have five things in your space, what would those be?
- Moleskine notebook
- UniPin Fine Line pen (the first two are of utmost importance)
- My cellphone representing a camera
- Nail polish
Neat or messy? Neat.
Sunlight or moonlight? Moonlight.
Pen & paper or digital? Pen and paper.
Coffee, tea or neither? Coffee with honey.
With or without music? Without music.
Which would you cover your wall with, sliced cheese or sliced bacon? Why?
Sliced bacon because I'm pretty sure it would smell less bad (at least for a while)
Lastly, what are you creating now?
Art journal pages. Lots and lots of art journal pages. More importantly, I just quit my day job and am launching my business officially on the 7/7/2014 (Editor's Note: She launched already!). Remember how I said that I'm easily excited? Yep, so imagine the excitement levels when it's something to really get excited about.
